My name is Jodi Picasso and I am a Pediatrician and a mom of two kids.

Finding healthy food can be difficult.  It doesn't scream at you at the store in a cool bright box or brag about its ingredients.  It usually doesn't come in a box or package unless its frozen.  I have 2 children, I get it.  They run down the isle like everyone else children with their "snack" begging me to buy.  Sometimes I buy them, but for the most part I shop around the perimeter of the grocery store.  Fruits, veggies and meats are my target items.  You might be thinking that you don't cook, or that your kids wont eat it.  We will talk about EASY and FUN ways to get them to try new foods.  Who knows, you might even try something new also.  

So what do I recommend?  3 veggies and 2 fruits daily.  Avoid drinking your calories (this includes juices).


BUT change starts small. So we will start in a stepwise approach on how to get there for you and your kids.  Give them the legacy of a healthy life.  Give them a healthy parent. 


If your thinking my kids will NEVER eat that or you will NEVER eat that...  Hang in there we will cover that too!   

So join me on the journey of a healthy life as we both accomplish it together.
